After three years of extensive testing, redesign, and further refinement, we at Zinn Cycles and Clydesdale Bicycles are proud to announce our revolutionary Zinn Duro fork. We have long awaited a carbon fork that is tough enough for the abuse that gravel cyclists, bikepackers and big and tall cyclists dish out. Our vision included a carbon fiber bike fork made to match our super-strong, bike frames in durability and fit. Having a fork that can perfectly fit any size bike from small to 4XL is a huge deal in the bike industry, for tall riders and average sized riders alike. Having the confidence that your fork will never fail is now a possibility for everyone.
We just finished up this really cool E-bike for a musician in San Fransisco. It's a titanium custom ebike build for a 6'6" rider. This was one of the few occasions where the rider's wife convinced him to upgrade from what he was originally looking for. He came to visit us at our shop in Louisville, Colorado and test road several bikes. He was originally looking for a non electric commuter/city bike to ride around San Fransisco. He got a chance to ride an e-bike we had built up and really enjoyed it. He came back from his test ride with a huge grin on his face.
Check bottom bracket cups on both sides for correct torque of 40nm.
Since the vast majority of our customers are taller than 6'4" and well over 200 pounds, we at Zinn Cycles build wheels for big riders every day, be they 700C road, gravel, and cyclocross wheels, 29er (including 29+) mountain bike wheels, 750D wheels, 32 inch wheels, and even 36 inch wheels. The quality of the build is critical, and the rim, hubs, spokes (and spoke count) must be chosen appropriately for the rider.
This bike turned out really nice. It's a titanium custom ebike build for a 6'10" rider. The customer was looking for a bike for riding commuting in his home town of Geneva Switzerland as well as long adventure rides on the many gravel paths in the area. For him, flat bars were the way to go to get him the riding position he wanted.
